Bunks Beds in AKL?

We have booked a savanah room in December? I am finding conflicting info over the bunk beds. I have read they are available in standard savanah rooms, and I have also seen that they are only available in deluxe savanah rooms. I thought the experts here might be able to answer the question.

Also, for the folks who have been in a bunk bed room, does it give you any more floor space?

we had bunkbeds in a non-savannah room (i.e., parking lot view) so I can't imagine that they wouldn't have them in a savannah room. Our girls loved them (2 & 6 at the time of the trip).

Glad to hear they are available. Did you request a room with a bunk bed or did you just get lucky?

We had a savannaha room last July and had bunk beds. We did not request them but because we had ask for 2 adjoining rooms the CM told us one room would have them and ask us if thats ok. Our kids were happy we had them.

We didn't request them, just got lucky, but as Cinderkeli mentioned, we did have adjoining rooms with my parents, and ours had the bunkbeds, theirs did not. In case yours are little ones, you can ask for bed rails from housekeeping and they bring them right up. The upper bunk has built in bed rails.

Bunk bed rooms are available in all category of room levels at AKL. Please note it in your request with CRO. Where it turns into Deluxe only would be for a room with a daybed in addition to the regular bed/bunk beds. Have a great time at AKL!
