Will be traveling to WL with two DS (ages 4 1/2 and 3). Are these guys too young/little for bunk beds? They are both active sleepers and move all over their beds at home. I'm concerned with the top bunk (probably for my older son). Thanks.

Jsfein,

I believe the bunk beds are standard size so the top bunk is probably high. We just bought bunk beds for our sons' room. We knew they were to little but wanted to decorate the room and get them furniture.

There is a big warning label that states that kids shouldn't sleep on the top bunk until they are 6.

My 4 year old sleeps on the bottom bunk.

Maybe they could sleep together on the bottom bunk. Or you could request bed rails and let them sleep together on a queen.

DS slept on the top bunk at WL and he had just turned 5. He moves a lot too while he sleeps--he often ends up with his head at the bottom of the bed. BUT, he didn't get up or sit up.

There are rails all around the top bunk
