Bunion help

I was fine in twilight sleep...do not remember a thing. As far as the pin removal...If I remember correctly, it was very quick, maybe a little uncomfortable but very very quick. Just think...they just pull them out, quick.

You will be fine! :thumbsup2

I had pin removal on my right foot at the same time they did the surgery on my left, and I was under general anesthesia. I don't remember much pain or trouble after the removal. I don't think they put a pin in my left foot.

I have had bunionectomy's on both feet, about 1 year apart. First one done in the hospital under anesthesia and a local. Woke up before they were done, sat up, and watched them stitch it closed. I also had a pin in this toe. Dissolvable, so it never had to be removed.

Second one done in the office with a local and some sort of twilight anesthesia that totally knocked me out.

No problems or even pain with either one. Only wore surgical walking boots, no crutches. So glad I had them done, my feet are pain free!!!
