OK, so I'm too lazy to search through the threads for these answers, but I need to know....

Are reservations required for Aladdin? On our previous trip we saw it but I do not recall having reservations for it and still had good seats.

We are a party of 10. If reservations are suggested but we can't get them, how soon would we need to be at the theatre to sit together?

If there is a dinner package, how soon can you reserve them and what restaurants have the package? We are down to 33 days, so I hope I'm not too late if a dinner package if recommended.

There are no reservations for Aladdin - you just line up about 30 minutes before the show starts. If you book a package through Disney, your package will include "preferred seating" for the number of guests in your party, but that just means they give you a voucher that says you get to show up a little later and still get good seats, your seats are not "reserved".

As far as i know, there is not a dinner package available for aladdin.

I should have known better than phrase it as reserved because I've used the dinner packages at WDW for Fantasmic and will be using it at DLR for WOC. As you noted, just the section is reserved, not the seat.

Do you know what restaurants offer the Dinner Package?

As I said above, there is no dinner package for Aladdin. It's just first come-first serve. If you're asking about World of Color, you can get a preferred viewing fastpass by booking a dining package for dinner at Ariel's Grotto (no princesses) or by booking the package for lunch or dinner at Wine Country Trattoria. You can also order a picnic for $15 that is less expensive and while it doesn't give you a fastpass for the preferred area, it does give you a fastpass for either the blue or yellow areas, which are the two better options. You can get fastpasses for those sections for free in the morning from the fastpass machines, but the picnic is a nice option if you can't make it over to the machines earlier in the day to get the passes.

Even the section isn't reserved, you just get to go into the theatre first.

When it comes to the WOC dining packages, I believe the lunch at WCT does not get you preferred dining, only a regular fastpass.

WannaseePooh may be correct. I found this dated from Nov. 2010. It's sneaky, but I believe "Special Reserved" means in the preferred area and "reserved" just means a regular FP. In that case, guess it's just the dinners.

(Full Service): Italian food is served inside the dining room or out on the terrace for lunch or dinner. Delicious Italian cuisine featuring lasagna, pastas, grilled sandwiches, and soups. The terrace overlooks the Pacific Wharf and Paradise Pier areas. Priority Seating is available.

I just got back and was going to do the Ariel's dinner with a FP to WOC, but when we checked in at the Grand Californian, we were told that we could get a FP at 8:30-9:00am in the area where you enter DCA if we showed our room keys. So that's what we did instead, and we got the blue viewing area. That was a nice surprise, and I didn't know if that was a new thing or not, so I thought I'd mention it here.

We've already booked our WOC DP, but I wanted to book one for Aladdin, if that was an option. Does not appear that to be available so we will just be at the theater 30-45 minutes prior.

If you sit on the floor, (not the balcony) for Aladdin sit on the right side aisle and the show passes right beside you, it's really cool.
