Hi all,

I've searched through the forums and still have questions about old tickets. I have a total of 4 5 Day Park Hopper Plus Passes, 1 from 95, 2000, 03 and 04. They each still have some options and days on them. Can I convert all four of these into one new ticket? Not for cash or to a MYW, but just to make it more convenient than having 4 separate passes. The one from 95 needs to be converted anyway, as it is the old paper kind with my picture on it.

Thanks so much for your help

You cannot combine all 4 tickets onto one new ticket. You can pick one and use it towards one new ticket.

Your best bet is to use each day you have left. You do not have to convert any of these.

Is there anyway to find out how many days are left on a park hopper. We have some and can't remember how is left.

Go to guest services at Walt Disney World; it's the only way.

Cheers.

Normally the best way to use up partially used tickets is to use them as-is but only during a vacation where you have enough of them that you do not need to buy a new ticket.

When old tickets are traded up towards new tickets, you must purchase all of the features that were utilized on the old tickets. For old tickets used more than 14 days ago, you must purchase non-expiration for the new ticket. Non-expiration on a new ticket is not a good deal if the new ticket could have been fully spent during one vacation.

It is not Disney's policy to return old cardboard tickets as souvenirs after exchanging them at no charge for modern tickets with equivalent admission plus Animal Kingdom, but it does not hurt to ask.

I have two 4 day park hoppers from 1996 and we only used 3 days on them. I have called about using them when we go down next week and they said yes, but I did not ask about the missing pictures on the front. When we used them in 96 they never put our pictures on the ticket (there is a box for them) but we never had any pics taken. They are stamped haphazardly with the date (3x) on each ticket and punched 3x on each ticket. Will they allow us to use the remaining day without a picture on them?

You really shouldn't have a problem using old tickets, even without a picture on them.
We have a lot of partical used tickets, and we take them each trip. We have them checked at Guest Services. We have started writing down what is left to use on the back of each ticket, while we are at the Guest Services window. Then when we use a ticket we mark off the day/option used on it. Last trip we again had all the tickets checked.... not sure why, and we found that what we had marked on them and what we thought we had left to use was not what the MK Guest Services said we had. So some time between trips the tickets got "used" up. And when we checked again with the same tickets at the Ecpot Guest Services we got another different result on the same tickets-what was left to use. It was a better "deal" at Ecpot, so we asked them to issue us a new ticket with the exact day/options left in exchange for the old tickets and they did.
Funny how the computers at one park showed a different usage then at the other park... guest this is one time the Disney computer system made a mistake for the good.

BTW- the total days left that was shown at Ecpot matched what we had marked on the tickets... so we didn't rip the system off, and didn't get ripped off either.

Especially if you keep your own history of usage of your tickets, Disney should take your word for it unless they can prove otherwise or unless the ticket is badly mutilated.

Should your ticket get waterlogged on Kali River Rapids or at a water park, get it replaced promptly before it gets too ragged.
