Anyone stay on the Wish in a room with a identical bumpout verandah as 9612? What did you think?

Yes. We were on 7, but in a similar room. I enjoyed the little bit more verandah, but can't say I loved all the traffic outside the room headed to or coming from the elevators. There's pros and cons to every room, though. If you're asking specifically about the verandah, it was lovely.

I believe that the rooms in the center of the bumpout, which I assume have the largest verandah, have a partially blocked view, except for deck 10.

We had a bump out verandah on deck 7. Our view was not obstructed. We did not notice a lot of traffic by our room. It was nice but isn’t wasn’t enormous or anything.

This is what some call an obstructed view on the center bumpout rooms, deck 6-9.

We had bump out 7570 and it looked exactly like this. It was fine, but we didn't really use it either. It was September (hot and humid with four tropical cyclones active simultaneously at the time).

We had 8620 and my mom was in 8622 and those were at the beginning of the bumpout, no obstructions. 8620 has a funky area though.
How did you like 8622? Stay in that room on The Treasure (thinking it will be “the same”).

I can't remember what that verandah was like, as the panel between both verandahs was open the entire 4 night stay. But I like that location, close to the aft elevators/stairs. I didn't notice a ton of foot traffic outside the stateroom but my kids are their own source of loudness.

We booked 8626 for the treasure because I like the location, if the tradeoff is a more "obstructed" view I'll deal with it.

Thanks for the room info! Did the room sleep 5 or have the pull down Murphy bed? We’ve only started getting verandas, now that the kids are older we just want the big room and more space. Excited for the Treasure!

8620 definitely slept 5 (bunk beds/pullout murphy), I didn't pay attention to 8622 as my mom was in that room, but I feel like it was the same layout.

We've had a variety of veranda's on DCL from the tiny one on Level 5 of Dream to a huge corner on the Fantasy. We always use our veranda's. We love to watch the water, arriving and departing ports. My husband was stuck in the hallway for 30 minutes because he left without his room key and I was on the veranda so I couldn't hear him. He even called the room multiple times but I couldn't hear that either. LOL. I love verandas but the bigger they are you'll have loungers as well as chairs. I think the bump outs with the obstructed view (they're talking about the flag when it's in port/dock) are on Level 6. On the Wish 8192 we had a smaller corner cabin with a chair instead of the couch but the veranda was oversized.
