We are going on the 17th. I just looked at the 10 day weather forecast, and they are predicting 65 and rainy! What is the best way to go on a rainy day?

There is a rule about 10-day weather forecasts that you obviously don't know! You are allowed to look at them, but if they are in the least bit negative you must immediately disregard them by saying "Oh, they change anyhow." It is also helpful to look at OTHER weather sites which will often disagree with the nasty site that upset you.

Just in case, decide which park you can visualize fun in regardless of weather. Epcot, for example, has a few things to do in each building. Disney Quest is a good backup in really pouring rain.

The parks in the rain actually aren't that bad. They are pretty enjoyable in the rain. It tends to actually lighten up the crowds alittle.

We usually do Epcot if it's going to rain. Sure, Test Track won't be open, but once you're inside Future World attractions, you're in them for a long time.

As for DisneyQuest in the rain - we've never done it, because we're always afraid it's gonna be packed. From what I've read on these boards, that seems to be the case, but like I said, we've never done DQ when it's raining.

I was glued to them hoping they would change, they did and turned out to be much worse than any predicted!! It can go either way.

take several ponchos, I also took some light weight waterproof jogging pants. We had 4 days of really lousy weather, but with layers and ponchos we did just fine.

I say Hope for the best, but Prepare for the worst. (I call it my just in case suitcase)

we did all the parks just like the original plan. Luckily, it wasn't raining when we did test track

Just bring your ponchos and go about your day. Its not really that bad in the rain. If its pouring and windy it might give you some probs (wet pants, shoes and legs) but other than that its not big deal. Heck, you are at Disney, you can have fun and enjoy it no matter what the weather is.

When we went to the WDW in June of 2003, it rained EVERY DAY (from the time we woke up in the morning, until we went to bed at night).

The rain actually destroyed our dollar-store ponchos on the third day and we had to buy the infamous Mickey ones, which are still in excellent condition.

However, we consider ourselves fortunate in that the rain kept away the crowds. Even though it was near the end of June, we had minimal waits in line and the temperature never went above the mid-80's. Sure, we had "wet everything", but we still laugh about it.

Rain was forcast everyday that we were to be there in January. The only time it rained was on the way in from the airport.

I'm not sure what you are looking at but from my weather stats it is going to decent weather.

I feel like from many good wishes, the forecast now says 70 and no rain! Come on you guys---how about 75? We are spending way too much on this little 3 night vacation for bad weather.

I hope it stays that way and dosen't change BACK to rain!!
As has been noted, these long-range forecasts are virtually useless. I'm always grateful if--at noon-- they can tell me what's going to happen at 6:00 PM. THis winter, that has become quite a struggle for them.

We did MK in the rain last month and it was great. No one was there and you went in and out of every ride no waiting. Buy cheap ponches at TArget or Walmart... And don't worry the weather usually changes really quick in Florida.

I guess when ALL the weather channels say "Rain," the next step is to get all your DIS pals to pray for good weather for you! I will start this.
