Bummed

Tried again, no luck. Maybe you guys are putting in the 12th and that makes a difference? We're only staying til the 11th, 6th to 11th shows no availability.

You are correct about that, because when I tried putting in the 6 - 11 it showed no rooms available at the Polynesian. So my mistake.

Got the same thing you did nothing :sad1: Keeping trying though tossing you some pixie dust your way pixiedust:

In my post I specifically said the 6th thru the 12th as that was what's available. But to save the room, you would need to book those dates and then call back and cancel the last day -- then you'd have exactly what you wanted...the 6th thru the 11th without having to change resorts midstream.

That may be the only thing you can do *at this point* if you want to guarantee your full stay at the Poly. Honestly, if it we me I'd just book it online, pay the deposit and call immediately to cancel the first reservation. If you time it right, the first deposit would be credited on the same statement as the second deposit and it will be a wash.

Yeah, seems like a no-brainer to me. Book it online now, with extra days if necessary. Then call and cancel the room you had reserved. Oh year and at some point call back and cancel the extra days. Even if you'd booked a package, I don't think there's any penalty for cancelling this far in advance.
The only thing you lose by doing it this way is having en extra $400 or so on your credit card for an extra couple of days.

I'm so PSYCHED!!! It worked and tomorrow I will just cancel the other two ressies I have and trim off one day from this one. You guys are awesome, :grouphug: Don't know why I didn't think of that myself. So I guess the question is, why did they make it available for 6 nights but not for the 5? Is this common?

I know -- it's crazy isn't it?

Glad it worked out for you! :goodvibes

I just cancelled the other ressie's and trimmed the one day off the new one without a problem. It's going to cost me a bit more now though because my other reservation had a AAA discount but they say it's not available for the new days. I'll be praying for a nice Nov. code or AP rate or something.

It's great that everything worked out for you.
