We'll be in Disney-area for our wedding anniversary and I'm toying around with a super nice dinner since we almost never buy each other gifts. We love nice restaurants though. We've done most of the nicer Disney places (Citricos, Brown Derby, Flying Fish, and CaliGrille all favorites). We also love Il Mulino and BlueZoo, but we're already planning Il Mulino with the kids and did Bluezoo last time.

Anyway, we've never been to Bull Bear or Victoria Alberts. Both have great reviews. I'm looking for encouragement one way or the other and would welcome other suggestions as well.

Many thanks in advance.

For an anniversary, I would choose V&A. But so much depends on your preferences. My wife detests the whole "steakhouse vibe" and would look at me cockeyed if I took her to a masculine meet manor for our anniversary. She would strongly prefer V&A (and would enjoy Sweetbreads, Short Ribs, Veal, or whatever other piece of cow placed before her). To her, steakhouses don't equal romance. But that opinion is certainly not shared by all.

I too would go to V&A. Bull and Bear is one of the few restaurants that we go to regularly on our trips and is very wonderful but for a special occasion such as an Anniversary just the two of you, I think V&A is more romantic.

My husband and I are going to V&A for our tenth anniversary in December. I was lucky enough to get the Chef's Table! It's the one ADR that I really had my heart set on and I'm really looking forward to it. But as a pp said, it depends on what your spouse likes. But my vote is for V&A.

We've been to both V&A and B&B. While B&B is very good, there is really no comparison to a V&A meal. For a major occasion, go for V&A.

Bull & Bear is delicious and we love the whole Orlando Waldorf vibe. But, for a romantic anniversary dinner, I would pick V&A.

For romance, go for V&A. I am glad that Bull and Bear is getting noticed. It is amazing.

Thank you for the overwhelming positive vote for VA. I'll be sure to book it.

Cheers!

Victoria and Albert's is certainly a fantastic dining experience, and it is truly an event of an evening. In fact, when I consider the price, I often consider what I might spend for an evening at a broadway show and dinner, because dinner at V&A is a show in and of itself.

With that being said... Bull and Bear is delicious. We feasted like kings, had an exceptionally romantic meal, and delicious food, and we spent $250-$300 less than we would have at V&A .

For my husband and I to go there, and get the wine pairings, we will spend a minimum of $480.

it is not an insignificant difference.
