Bulk Crayons, Story Books, Coloring Books?

I'm tasked with finding the best deal for 50-75 of each of these for a Santa gathering in December. I'm checking the obvious places (to me anyway) like Oriental Trading and Amazon, but does anyone know of any other hidden gems for finding these items? It's a Breakfast with Santa sort of thing at work, and these were the specific items they want to give out. Thanks!

You can order in bulk from the dollar tree and funexpress.com has bulk coloring supplies.

I'm not sure what your budget is, but I know the dollar tree has pretty nice items. I know you can also order by the case online and have them delivered to the store for pickup, although I don't know if they give you a discount if you are buying in bulk.

As for crayons...you could always raid the hostess counter at your local restaurant that hands out crayon packs to the kids! Just kidding...maybe.

I was thinking coloring books at Dollar Tree but I don't think their crayons are very good so I'm not sure where to suggest for those.

Order from the Scholastic fliers (the paper fliers that go home with the kids from school). There's usually a $1 book each month. If you don't have a kid who is bringing these home, find someone who does because their classroom will get extra book points from your order, which I'm sure they'd appreciate. You don't even have to find a kid with the right grade level you're seeking. As long as the teacher set up online ordering you can order from any of the grade levels. I do this all the time and stockpile $1 books for party favors and gifts.

* How to Catch an Elf (1st grade)
* Maisy Makes Gingerbread (Honeybee/early childhood)

You get the idea. Great prices and helps a local classroom!
