Buildings 14 and 15 at HH

We are making ressies at HH in a few days. I know requests are just that, requests, but I am trying to decide what would be best to request for us.

We will be in a 2 bedroom-DH, myself, our 2 DSs and a friend for each (ages 13-14) and my mom. While I think a pool view request might be great with the kids a marsh request may be nice for the adults! Anyway.....I was looking at the map and wondering what kind of rooms were available in the buildings along the boardwalk.


hhmmmmm..which way do I go or just take what is given at check in and make no requests at all!!!!!

Buildings 14 and 15 have only dedicated 2BR villas. They do offer a nice marsh view from the porch and a look at the marina from the front stairs.

I would make your request. As you stated, you really have nothing to loose since there is no guarantee. If you make a request, though, and get what you asked for you'll be happy. If not, I'm sure you'll still be happy but you might have been happier. The two times we have been there we have made requests. The first time we were placed in the next building from where we asked to be. The second time we got our request. I would give it a try. Good luck and enjoy HH!

DH just made our summer ressies for HH!!!! Yahoo!We spent a week there in June 2001 and loved it!

DH told me they would not take any requests concerning views for 2 bedrooms......we will just take what we can get and have a wonderful time!!

Building 14 is a little misleading from the map. There is no path to the steps. It sits right on the road of the resort. If you have kids, you will have to be careful and not let them run down the steps and into the road. The plus to it is, that you can park right at the steps to the door. The pool rooms can be a less than private situation at times.
