Building/Room Request - POFQ

We will be taking our first trip to WDW in 24 days - - WOO HOO and I was trying to decide which building I should request. Looking for the location most convenient to the most things.

Any suggestions?

We booked and received a standard view room. We were located in building 4 which is next to the building with the food court. We were on the 3rd floor.

Loved the location. We were on the back of a wing that was steps away from the bus stop with a lovely walk through a small courtyard.

No water or pool view which I know matters to some people. We however don't sit in the room and look out the window, so standard works for us. I'd request building 4 again if we book FQ in the future. Loved our location.

We've been in bldgs 5 and 6 and been happy in both. You really do not have to worry about what bldg to request at FQ. The resort is small, it's not more than a 1 minute walk from bldg to bldg kwim?

You could request a close bldg like #4 but your room be in the back by the water, that would mean you are further away from the lobby than if you were in the front of bldg 5 kwim?

FQ is such a peaceful beautiful resort. Have a great trip!
