Building opening schedule for SSR

Does anyone know for sure how many SSR buildings are opening in 2004 and when?

Buildings 1-4 will open in 2004- one per month beginning in May, 2004.

The remaining 8 buildings are scheduled to open (one per month) beginning in January, 2005. Thus far, no construction has begun on those buildings, but the ground has been cleared and prepared.

The schedule is certainly subject to change.

I am assuming that the construction is not going to affect everyone's stay very much. They probably have "walls" up to hide the mess? We are going to try for the week after Christmas 2004. It's not that I mind very much, knowing ahead of time that there will be things going on, but I would hate to have our first time home too tainted...You know what I mean?

There will be minimal "mess". The exterior work for #1-4 will be completed by May and only the interior touches will need attention while those are completed. The other area is "hidden" behind green construction barricade and is not in the immediate vicinity of the 1st four buildings (across the roadway- space around a lake).

By late Dec., 2004 even the early phase of buildings 5-12 will have been completed and that will mean even less sound/construction traffic.

Received in the mail today from DVC - Projected Opening Dates

Units 1A - 1Q on May 17th, 2004

Units 2A - 9A on June 7th, 2004

Start date for reservations will be on the 1st of December
