Whilst researching and planning our trip to DLRP, I came across a site with photos of the parks and the shops etc(I think the site was called photos magique). One of the photos is of a shop in Main st(not sure of the name) that sold build your own potato heads. Do they still do these in the shop(s) and if so how much are they now(the photo showed they were 15 euros but not sure how old the photo was):)

Yes it still exists. I've seen them in Disney Village, in the shop on the left as you go into Disney Studios and in a shop on the left hand side going down main street

Not sure of the price though as I've never bought one :)

Yay that's good they stil do them. I was planning to get one for my little niece for her birthday(she will be two so the right age for one). Thank you!:):thumbsup2

Another question about potato heads. My daughter already has potato heads bought for her but not ones from disneyland. Are they a different size at disneyland then ones bought in normal shops and can you buy parts seperately without purchasing a head. I was thinking that my daughter could get some different parts for her ones.:)

I bought DH a Mr Potato head here in the Disney Store he came with a baseball cap and no mustache so when we were in WDW we got the correct hat and a hat they fit but we werent charged the CM gave them to us as a Honeymoon gift! Sorry doesnt really help but the bits do fit!

yes, the fit is universal for Mr PotatoHead. As far as I believe, you do have to purchase a potato in your box as well as cramming all the bits in :).

i got mine in the store in the stuidos. cant remember how much it was, but deff not over 20euro anyway. remember and pack as much as you can into the box lol

Thanks for the replies. I like the tip about putting some of the pieces in the actual potato head aswell as the box. Definately get your monies worth that way:)

I can't recall if it was our first or second trip so 2-3 years ago but we asked if we could skip the potato head (had one already) and just fill up the box with bits - we were told yes and did so. Like I say though it was some time ago and we may have been lucky with the CM we got. This was in the Village Disney Store btw.
