Build Your Own Lightsaber - No More????

It'd be silly to stop it - that had to be a gold mine of sales for them. My just-out-of-college cousin spent practically half an hour there building up a custom lightsaber and trying out different components.

I hope they get them back in and FAST. The 8 year old is determined to build one of her own. Goes around my house when she's visiting and calling me a Sith Lord and warning me that I am doomed (should never have turned her into such a geek LOL).

I was there yesterday and spoke to a CM who said they are out of hilts park-wide. She didnt know when they would be back in stock. They had been shipping them in from disneyland but they used up all of those as well.

Wow, thanks for asking the CM. Good to know they haven’t actually stopped the build your own saber. But concerning that they ran out of hilts. Hopefully they can get this sorted out quickly. Be down in a month and like many people in this post, would like to avoid trying to explain to my son that the one trip to Disney we take he can’t build the lightsaber he has been talking about forever. Oh and I would like to build one for myself. He needs someone to play with right? (We are all just big kids)

I hope they get the pieces back to start this up again soon! My daughter just built one at Tatooine Traders at HS outside of Star Tours two weeks ago on 4/16. I know she and DH were really looking forward to it.....we couldn't do it on our last trip in 11/2014, they were sad to miss it and they'd been looking forward to it when we went back. I had seen some comments about it being not available everywhere before we left, so we were happy to see it open at HS.

After seeing every Build Your Own saber stand full of pre-made sabers this week (since 4/29) I saw them up and running, fully stocked at Tatooine Traders today at DHS. (5/4) Didn’t have a chance to check anywhere else. Hopefully this means they are officially back everywhere!

We were at Disney mid-May and the only place these were fully stocked was HS Tatooine Traders. I checked other places and they were out of stock and I asked a CM at DS and was told they wouldn't be back in stock there until July for some reason.
