Hi does anyone know if it is still possible to build your own lightsaber at WDW? If so how much? where? are they worth the $$$... and anyone have any pictures?

Thanks!

It is at the store in Downtown Disney. I don't remember the exact cost because we were buying other things as well, but I think they were in the vicinity of $23 - however there is an option to build a double-lightsaber that is a little more expensive. I don't have pictures, but I think they're worth the money for Star Wars fans - they come with a few extras (gems for the power source, etc.). My kids are only fair-weather SW fans, so it wasn't worth the money for us in the long run, but they weren't so expensive that we regretted buying them.

I bought my nephew a double ended light saber this past May. I think it was around $40. I feel it was totally worth it b/c he really cherished it. You can just get a basic lightsaber and it will be cheaper, but they have the option to change out certain parts and add extras, and it will get more expensive by adding other options. It was right as you exit Star Tours in the shop you exit through. I think it was totally worth it if someone is a major fan.

As state DTD and outside star tours are two places to make light sabers. A quieter place is at the MK in tommorrow land. There is a shop around Buzz Light Year that has them and it is not a crazy as the other two places.

You can do it at Once Upon a Toy at DTD. DS just did it this past September, but I can't remember the price for sure, somewhere between $20-$25.
