Build a Lightsaber during DAH

My son is interested in building a lightsaber on a DAH event at DHS. I have seen that lightsabers are available during the After Hours times. Would you recommend doing the experience before 9:30 with a scheduled time or wait until the After Hours begins? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would suggest before After Hours begins so you can maximize your time at the attractions. The only downside of doing it before AH starts is you will have to carry the light saber around the rest of the night.

I would do it before the after hours event begins. To me, the whole point of paying $$$ for AH is to ride things without long lines (multiple times)!

I agree. It’s kind of a waste of AH time to build a lightsaber. Reservations to build on aren’t difficult to get during the regular park time.

We were able to get a reservation at 8:25 and an Oga's reservation at 8:55. I think that this will work out. Thanks for the advice.
