My sis and I are planning to bring our build-a-bears to California with us dressed like Disney princesses. Is it wise to bring them to the actual park: Disneyland or DCA? Have you ever seen anyone with build-a-bears at the park?
Advice please...this is a hude decision...for a 13 year old!

I've seen people carrying BAB buddies. I think it's a great idea. Although, I'd plan on holding on to them, as unfortunately, some people get "sticky fingers."

I think most Disneyland guests don't really care if you carry around teddy bears, stuffed animals, balloons, or anything like that. And Walt certainly wouldn't care, so don't worry about it. The only reason I wouldn't is because it could get lost or stolen, and those build-a-bears are expensive. If you want to carry something around, get a small stuffed toy that's cheap and save the bear for a safer place.

I wouldn't take it just because it is something else to have to carry and keep track of, but otherwise I don't see any reason not to.

My dd has brought her build a bear several times. She loves to do that! We usually ask for a Disney bag to put it in when we get tired of holding it. Otherwise, the bag folds up in my bag. Also helps for certain rides to have it in a bag, so it doesn't get wet/dirty, etc....

My DD brought hers every day dressed as Belle, we left it in the stroller with no problems while we were on rides.

That being said I think we were pretty lucky, if we had to carry "Hannah Mon-kitty" around all day I don't think she would have brought it.

i wouldnt take her cuz she could get stolen or she can get dirty or wet
