Bugs!

We are going on our first ever camping trip to FW tomorrow in our brand new TT. We have never camped in our lives! Are there bugs, or does Disney spray? We have been to Disney many times at our DVC, but never been to FW! Also, do the " friendly" Fla roaches come crawling into the campers??

After setting up our RV I usually spray a little insect spray on the ground around the tires and jacks and on the water hose, electric cord, sewer hose and awning supports when I extend them vertically. This usually takes care of ants and other bugs.

Just make sure you wear bug spray if you watch the fireworks from the beach at night or you'll get eaten alive. We learned that the hard way.

We were at FW May 1-8 and definitely needed bug spray at night.

Take your bug spray to the campfire as well. We have never had any bugs or ants crawl into the rv though.

We were there in May 2 yrs ago and the biting flies almost carried us away.
