Bug's life okay for a 4 yr. old?

I would have to say no, its a very "in your face" show! The sling shots and the bee stings arent going to sit well with a 4 year old.

Another vote for no. My 4-year-old was really scared by the effects in this show. It wasn't so bad that we had to leave, no screaming or anything. But he was whimpering into my shoulder and not too happy. However, I wouldn't take a small child in there again!

Wow this is really surprising to me
The last time we were there my 3 kids (and me and my wife) all really enjoyed ITTBAB.
They were 8, 5, 3 at the time. And I don't consider my kids daredevils at all.
We didn't do any of the thrill rides, and they were afraid to go in Haunted Mansion.
Go figure

I had the same thoughts when we went over the summer - to skip this one. I had told my DD (who just turned 5 on the trip) about it before hand so she had an idea of what to expect. From there, we took our cue from her. When we got there, she insisted on seeing this. She wanted to see the butterfly curtain & feel the "tickle bugs" inside the seat. She LOVED it! The only part she didn't like was the smell of the stink bug, LOL!! We ended up seeing it a couple of times. I don't remember any kids screaming/crying/being taken out of the theater.
