Bugs in Muskoka/Haliburton?

Thinking of heading up to cottage this weekend which is in the Carnarvon area (border of Haliburton and Muskoka areas). My daughter is very sensitive to bug bites, so wondering what the current black fly and mosquito situation is? Died down or thick as thieves?? Thx
