Bugs in March?

Never be to FW...taking scouts and tent camping : : ....wanted to know how bad are the bugs Will bug spray be fine...or invest into a screen shelter?

Which campsite loops with full hook is closest to the trading post, so we might be able to request? (No tent camping area available when we called to reserved)

We camped last March with no problems with bugs of any type. October was a different story....picked lovebugs out of our teeth and a couple of chomps from no-see-ums.
