I was just wondering of anyone has any advice on packing bug spray and calamine lotion for a WDW trip. I was on vacation last summer in Mexico and got eatin' alive by mosquitos and I was miserable. I don't want that to happen on this trip. How are the mosquitos in WDW? I have been there but don't remember them being bad at all. I am just wondering if I should be prepared with bug spray, etc. or if maybe it is not even worth packing it???

I KNOW - silly question, but I thought - hey, why not ask it!!??!!

I pack it ever since I had to pay $10 for a bottle of Off one summer at FW when we were eatin' alive. Only had to use it that once but since bugs seem to like munching on us I am better safe than sorry.

The mosquitos are horrible, but mostly at night. Not so bad in the parks as at the resorts. Definately pack your OFF. DD is allergic to mosquitos and it wasn't a pretty sight. Maybe I'm more sensitive to it because of her problem.:scared:

Just bought at Wal-Mart Bug Off (biting insect repelling wrist bands) They glow in the dark, are deet free and the kids don't wig out about bugspray. They were under $2 and are reusable when properly stored.:sunny:
