Has anyone used one of these (or something similar) attachments for a child to stand on the back of your stroller?

Right now we're planning to take our regular Bob stroller (for the 2 year old) and also have a double stroller (Smaller size Maclaren) for the two 5 year olds. I don't think the two 5 year olds will be able to keep up with the walking. However, we're thinking we won't need a stroller for them every single day so maybe getting one of these 'stand boards' for our Bob. Then someone can stand while the 2 year old rides as needed.

My main concerns are would I trip over this pushing the stroller? I wonder if there is room for my legs without walking awkwardly. My 5 year olds are definitely at the top of the weight limit for this (which is listed at 44lbs) but I'm not worried about exceeding the weight for our 1/2 week usage of it.
Also, wonder if it makes folding the stroller harder or maybe you even have to remove this which makes bus rides even more hectic!

I'd love any feedback! :earsgirl::earsboy::tigger:

My kids are a little over a year apart, I loved the boogie board. You do have to get used to it while pushing, but it's much easier than having the double. My kids would switch, they thought it was fun! We used it as an attachment on our single Maclaren.

Also, removing it is super easy, it just pops right off.

We have the buggy board for the City Select and it is great. My daughter (almost 4) stands on it and my son (almost 3) has just started to use it. My daughter is almost 40 lbs and it is still easy to push with both in there. It can fold up when not in use and it does not get in the way of folding up the stroller. I'd say my only complaint is that it is easiest to use if there is just 1 seat in the stroller but sometimes they both want to sit and then we have to bring the 2nd seat somehow... but doesn't seem like it would be a problem for your situation!

I have this one for my maclaren. The stroller does not fold up with the buggy board attached. It is easy to pop on and off, though.

I have the board for the Uppababy Vista for my 5 yo DS. He loves it and I find it easy to walk with. The stroller can be folded with the board attached. I think it will really depend on your stroller. For us, the handlebar extends and DS rides inside the handlebar. I imagine that if he was between me and the handlebar it will likely be more uncomfortable.

I found this link that shows you how the buggy board looks for each make of stroller, it may be help you decide:

We've used the buggy board with a Chicco liteway and a Maclaren Quest. It's hard to push honestly. The liteway had taller handles so it was easier. With the Maclaren I find myself standing to one side which is super tiring on my arms. I'm not tall (5'5") but find myself kicking the board often.

Both strollers don't fold up with the board on. We just take it off. Super easy.
