first time going to USO. Do you guys bring breakfast to eat in the room?

Can I bring water bottles/snacks into the park?

Trying to save some $$.....

TIA.

When we do Disney, we get breakfast food delivered via garden grocer. But I'm not sure about he ins and outs of doing this at Universal. IF you book a private transfer (e.g. through a towncar or van service) most of them will include a 30 minute grocery stop so you can pick up some things and bring them with you. When we go to Universal, we like to stay club level so that we don't have to worry about breakfast. Unfortunately, I can't swallow Disney's prices for their club level, hence, the grocery delivery!

Yes, you can bring water bottles and snacks into the parks. Just no glass. Also, depending upon your appetites, we found the portions at most of the counter service places to be big enough to share, so that might help stretch your budget a bit.

We didn't bring breakfast with us, but there are some cheap breakfast options around if you want to wing it. On our way out of the park at night, we sometimes will stop at Cinnabon to get us something quick to eat in the morning. Two cinnamon rolls and a bottle of water will cost us around $10.

You can always get free ice water at the restaurants and use drinking fountains. We have a fridge so no problem getting milk for cereal. When we use to stay in places without a fridge I think I would eat things like snack bars. That was a long time ago. For a snack you can easily split a meal and the quick service places are reasonably priced. I personally don't like to waste time with lockers so don't carry anything I can't go on coasters with. I know the security people always look at me crazy when I don't have anything to put in the dog food dishes at the metal detectors.

Yes, we definitely eat breakfast in the room. I expect to have to eat lunch and dinner out in the park, but breakfast we buy boxes of doughnuts, muffins, whole fruit and have juice and coffee in the room. Much easier to eat as everyone is getting ready too. We carry packaged snacks (granola bars, Belvita, etc) in but find for the most part that there are plenty of water fountains and you can ask for courtesy water at counter service restaurants. We also do quick serve meals in the parks and for dinner if we are staying on site we eat at one of the places in City Walk. There is a pretty decent variety.

This ^^ If the room has a fridge, I think most or all do at UNI?, we might bring some milk for cereal, cream cheese for bagels etc. We aren't big breakfast eaters though, we might eat something small in the room like fruit, yogurt, bagels, cereal and then have brunch in the park and an early dinner to cut meals down to 2 a day.

We have always done breakfast in our room with food from home and a grocery store stop. Not only does it save money, but it makes it so much easier to get out the door in time. You can bring food and drinks into the park during most times. I've heard they get pickier after 5pm with drinks but they didn't say anything to me last time I walked in with a water bottle at about 6pm.

We get stuff at the grocery store for a quick breakfast, since we want to get to the park ASAP. Then we usually have an early-ish lunch. Works for us.
