Has anyone ever had this happen to them? I have found little white "cocoons" on several of my Christmas decorations. Nothing appears damaged and their are no live bugs (that I can see on them) but it is freaking me out.

Any advice or suggestions? What are they? I feel all itchy...it might just be my mind running away with me though. My DS isn't itchy. LOL!

My first thought was spider eggs. I would remove then with a tissue and flush or thow away. IF you are a bug lover you could place them outside but that would give me the heebie jeebies! Good Luck!!

Oh my...that happened to use several years ago...right in our Christmas tree. We were in the process of moving, so we hadn't noticed that we had cacoons since this all happened right after Christmas. We ended up with little spiders all over the place. It was just awful! We ended up throwing away many of our ornaments, and lost some of the gifts that we had kept under the tree. It was a nightmare to deal with in addition to moving that week.

I would move the cacoons right away, before anything hatches. Check around carefully to be sure you've gotten it all.

Sorry you have to deal with this, but at least you have the chance to catch the little buggers before they come out!
