Buffets?

Does the Disney Cruise have the same buffets as other cruise lines? For example, on RCCL, you can opt to skip your sit down dinner and go to a buffet - is this an option on the Disney Cruise?

Thanks!

The buffet is at lunch until 2:00, none at dinner. They don't have the big midnight buffet either. They have some late night snacks in the bar area from 11:00-midnight, They have a small buffet on Tropical deck party night 11-11:45.
Your other dinner options would be room service, plutos hotdogs and hamburgs until 9:30 or midnight (depends), pinochios pizza until midnight, Scoops until 8:00.
You have to check your navigators because the times do change daily.

You can have dinner at Topsiders any night you don't want to eat at your regular rotation restaurant. I think it is table service now and not a buffet but that is an option along with plutos, Pinnochios or room service.

On our cruise the buffet was not open at dinner, only lunch. This was a few days ago. This was Beach Blanket on the Wonder, maybe it's different on the 7 day.

Always have the dinner at topsiders on the Magic at least. Also DCL does have a very lavish desert buffet one night of the cruise. Also they have a huge desert/hot food buffet on Tropical/Pirate Night. Hope this helps.

I know CPM said it was a small buffet at tropical night, but on our cruies they had a big table with beef, fried chicken, tacos and other assorted foods. Then a huge desert table with crepes, ice cream, cakes, tarts. I considered that pretty big to me at least. Plenty of food to choose from:)

I think I was too full to even care! LOL But there was a lot of food on it. It was just one big table. I think the OP was comparing the buffet to the ones on other cruiselines. If you have been on others they have a huge midnight buffet. With ice carvings, lots of options, and fancy desserts. It's about ten times as long as DCL's. I usually look at it and that's about all.
Come to think of it I think the OP really was only looking for a dinner option <G>.

The Wonder is different from the Magic dinner wise.....Topsiders is open for dinner where on the Wonder it is not. I actually never made it to topsiders for dinner but I do know its open.
