Buffets

So I was looking at the Buffet menus. Why do they separate the adult/kid menus for a buffet. Is one not supposed to eat off the other one? I was thinking a buffet is a buffet and it’s a whatever you want to eat type thing but after looking at the menus I am worried I might be wrong.

Everyone is free to eat anything they want at a buffet. They just separate it on the menu so people can see what type of kid friendly offerings are available.
