We always go to 2 or 3 off-site buffets on visits to
Disney. What are the best off-site buffets currently
in the area?
(Some of our favorites have been Billy Wong's, NY Buffet
and Golden Coral)

We've tried Golden China and Angel's seafood buffet, both on 192, and found them both good.

I don't have one to add, since I'm not a fan of buffets. My kids however LOVE buffets, and think no visit to Florida is complete without a buffet meal. We don't have them here in Massachusetts really. I'll keep reading, so that maybe next time I can find one that I will enjoy

Angels was just not one of our favorites...lots of $$$ for below average crab and very tough lobster...and they are the masters at squeezing everyone into one line and putting the "good" stuff at the very end!!

Sweet tomatoes gets our vote too, very fresh and very tasty, a cut above the usual buffet fair.

We like Sweet Tomatoes. Have tried Angels and Las Vegas buffet, will not be returning to either.

:thumbsup2 yep.. when the kids were little they like ponderosa 'cause of the al you can ice cream..

I love Lobster. Where is a good Lobster buffet with reasonable prices?

Thank you

I think I read that Angels has clsed as it was at Nikki Bird before it was taken over.

Boston Lobster Feast is the most popular in Orlando. There are alot of coupons floating around town for it too. I agree with what someone said about Las Vegas buffet. I made the mistake of eating there once and I will never do that again.
Ponderosa has a good breakfast buffet for $3.99. It depends on which one you go to on whether the lunch or dinner buffet is good. Definately avoid Western Sizzler on 192.

I usually go to the Sweet Tomatoes at Kirkman and International Drive. It's way down by Universal and Fun Spot.

Another vote for Sweet Tomatoes. We have a late lunch there just about every time we go to Orlando.

We liked Ponderosa when we were there in 2002. We ate several meals there, on I drive by Sand Lake Rd. We'll be staying in Kissimmee this trip. Does anyone know if the Ponderosas in Kissimmee are any good?

There are always coupons floating around for this place too. I suggest you go to the visitors center on the upper part of I drive. It is near the hotel that looks like a pink castle. They will give you tons of coupons and a welcome gift bag that includes things like Pepto, cereal, bandaids etc. WE just stumbled on it last year and it was great. All the coupons available are put in one bag for you.
