Which would you say is the best - Cape May, Crystal Palace (we don't care about the characters) or Beirgarten.

We've been to Cape May 3 times. The last time we weren't impressed but thought about giving it another chance. Crystal Palace we have been to three times before for lunch and were thinking about giving dinner a try. My oldest has never been there with us. We already have ressies for Boma. Which of the three would you suggest we do this trip?

Beirgarten has a really neat show and the food is better than you'd think. I would pick that. I don't love Cape May since it has downscaled but my DD loves it so we're going. I've never been to CP

Been to CP and Biergarten, never Cape May. I love both CP and Biergarten so I can't help much. If you're not going for the characters, go for the Biergarten. Good food, great atmosphere and beer if you are so inclined.

I agree with the Biergarten. Its just such a happy-feeling place! You can't have a bad time in there!

My DH loves the Clam bake it was just okay for me. The surprise of our trip was the Biergarten. We loved it all of us. Even our picky 2 yr old. She is still talking about the pretzel bread. I have not eaten at CP yet. They probably are good enough that it doesn't matter.

Been to all three. I think Biergarten would be great for an Epcot day or if staying at an Epcot resort. Cape May used to be great, but they've cut a lot of corners and I didn't think it was very good the last time I went. CP is a tradition for us. We have never been disappointed. We always do luch there on our first MK day. When I thought the kids might be tiring of it I went over ADR's and found they were ticked off that I had not put it on the list. A good selection and something to please everyone. It is also a great respite from the hot sun.

Been to all three several times ourselves. I think CP was one of the best places we've had for dinner in the Magic Kingdom. Great variety for the adults, (they had the cold cream of strawberry soup--heaven) and a seperate buffet for the kids. Biergarten is good for an Epcot visit, but our daughter (11 yrs. old at the time) didn't feel like there were alot of things on the buffet that were "kid friendly". Cape May has been one of our all time favorites, but it has been two years since our last trip, so now I am reluctant to go back there after seeing the posts that they have cut corners, what a shame.:sad1:

good choice not to choose Cape may. we went there this past july and i was seriously disappointed. i guess that because of where it is located i expected a better buffett. the food choices were average and the seafood was just not good at all. the dessert tray was sorely lacking in variety. honestly the buffet in HV beat CM rather handily. the resturant was very nice and our server was very good and she kept our drinks filled at all times. A+ for service and ambience but a C for the food
