Buffet Question

On our last trip we ate at Hollywood & Vine in MGM and it was a big hit for the whole family.

This trip, I'd like to try the Crystal Palace buffet, but I'm having a hard time convincing my husband.

How would you compare the two? Also, do you have a favorite buffet? We'll be on the DDP and only want to use 1 credit for the meal. Thanks in advance!

We ate at both on our last trip in November. We really enjoyed both of them, but I thought that the food was better at Crystal Palace. It is a little nicer, I think. Higher-end selections than H&V. But I still love H&V. I have ADRs for both for our trip next week!

Crystal Palace is SO much better than H&V...there is no comparison

We did CP for early lunch 11:30 am and H&V for early fantasmic dinner 4:10 pm, so I won't compare the food but in terms of atmosphere, CP is much nicer. I thought that H&V felt like a loud cafeteria. CP is beautiful with the windows and the glass dome and the greenery. The food is more removed from your eating place. Still buffet atmosphere, up and down, back and forth. At CP, you will have the added fun of the characters...this will affect your meal because you will be timing your trips to the buffet based on the proximity of the characters, if you care, and also you may be dealing with more photos and posing and stuff and such inbetween the tables as you go back and forth with the buffet. We enjoyed both very much on our trip. I would do CP and try something new

We typically do CP for breakfast and for us it is the best buffet on property. It is usually our last day breakfast.

I think Crystal Palace is the best buffet ANYWHERE (Disney or otherwise)

We liked them both, but if I had to choose, I would pick Crystal Palace because we love Pooh and friends.
