Buffet Breakfast with characters?

We love starting off each DL visit with a relaxing buffet at Minnie's each trip. Since we're WDW newbies, I'm hoping you can all help me find a restaurant to continue our tradition! We were planning our first day at MK, if there is anything there?

The Crystal Palace has character dining, including breakfast.

Crystal Palace has Winnie the Pooh characters. If you want Fab 5, you can walk or monorail to the Contemporary and eat at Chef Mickey's.

Also on the monorail loop with MK is Ohana at the Poly and 1900 Park Faire at GF, both have character breakfasts also.

Crystal Palace is awesome! I LOVE the food!!!!! The breakfast lasagna is a hidden gem. So good. Poohs puffed French toast is also amazing. Plus they have mad to order egg station where you can also get chocolate chip pancakes! Love the atmosphere. So pretty. Characters are great too.
