Just tried to book buffalo Bills for my stay....... either the 3rd or the 4th october, but no joy. Can i book it else where, rather than direct with Disney.

Also would an animal loving vegetarian enjoy the show. Any "lasooing" round cows necks etc.... She'll be having none of that!!!

AFAIR you'll see this. But as it is Disney you'll not see them turned into burgers :rotfl: ;)

Strange that you can't book direct with Disney. Did the CRO give you any explanation?

Being that it is early Oct, those may be the "dark" nights and non Disney sites may not know that yet.

BB is friendly for vegetarians. The lassoing is around the legs and very gently. In fact the animals are treated VERY well at Disney. Better than most dairy farms.

Vegans may have an issue with the show however.

hmmmm lassooing around the legs doesn't sound too good. Althought the animals are prob treated well i don't think she'll appreciate seeing this.

Do they fall on the floor during this.

I think its best off leaving it. I would hate to book it and her get upset by this. Are there other things that ppl could suggest?? Just a restaurant or bar that we could spend a few hours at:)

I would maybe recommend the sports bar in disney village. it has great cocktails and a good atmosphere, and you can sit outside and people watch too.

or maybe the rio grande bar at the hotel cheyenne - great live music and again a family friendly atmosphere. great fun. or the bar at sequoia lodge, really cosy and great cocktails :)

sounds like us...... sports bar, and people watching. For some reason there is nothing more satisfying than people watching!!

yes, we spent one evening at the sports bar, i was nice just to sit and take in the surroundings after a long day in the parks.:thumbsup2

In fact the evening we were there, there seemed to be loads of ppl that knew each other, i guess it was a cm's leaving got together as i remembered seeing one of the men working on the door of the sports bar the night before. It was entertaining as they were all up dancing and singing:goodvibes . But i couldnt help but wonder which one i may have been cuddled up to for a photo earlier that day as pluto or mickey lol:lmao:

My mother is an animal loving vegetarian and both my husband and i are huge animal lovers... (we have horses and horsey people are the most picky of all!)

There is nothing in this show not to like with the way the animals are treated one cow gets roped around the horns because the cowboys are joking they are hungry and one of them actually tells him off and says "you can't do that because this is disneyland!!!!"

My mum would be the first person to complain if she thought anything mean was done to the animals and all she had to say was how much she enjoyed it!

There is a scene where the indians chase some buffalo...however all they are doing is running behind them because the buffalo are trained to run round the arena and even know where and when to exit.

The animals there were all amazingly relaxed and happy with their surroundings anytime a cow or buffalo came on the first thing they did was drop and have a damned good roll in the sand, as a horse owner and former livestock worker this made me laugh as to just how relaxed the animals in the show are!!!

Hope this helps

I completely agree with Orion33, I too am sensitive to anything that could be perceived as abusive or inappropriate towards animals and I loved Buffalo Bills. I book it everytime we go to DLP!

this is all good to know..... makes booking that little bit easier :)

shame disney say its sold out :(
