Considering that it is a show and supper we thought it was good value and good fun.

Not sure I'd do it every trip, but definitely a highlight on our 2004 summer trip :)

Another thumbs up for the show, one that all the family enjoyed, we're doing it again next time and luckily for us it qualifies for the "Kids Go Free" offer.
I've read a lot of reviews knocking the food and OK it's not "Haute Cuisine", but it's edible - my kids ate it without grumbling, DH enjoyed the beer and the show alone is worth the entrance fee in my opinion. :teeth:

We missed out on it last year but have booked to see it this year. I have heard a few grumbles about it being a bit 'pantomime' but that just adds to the appeal for me (I plan to fully participate;) )

We went at Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed it. :thumbsup2

I had also read a few uncomplimentary things about the food but we found it quite satisfactory, although I do think it would be better serving chicken strips rather than a leg seeing as it is so dark! ;)

Yee haa! :cool1:

You obviously read the same review as me - I think I might recommend everyone leaves them well alone, just in case.

We didn't have any problem with the food. Now keeping DD's clothes on ;)

i also had my doubts about the show, but we prebooked it the same time as our holiday, but after reading reports i thought oh no what a waste of money, but my sister has been and yes the food is not brill but the show was the best they had seen during their holiday.
now my dh is worried about eating chicken and this bird flu.

I'm doing this one myself this year. One thing though - the hats they give out, is it possible to purchase extra ones? Three nephews into one hat won't go.

The show is great - the food was ok but nothing special. Not sure if I'd say it's worth €52 as it's all over in no time. We went on our second trip and we are tempted to go again this summer if we go to DLRP - although it's not top of my 'value for money' list it's holiday and you gotta do these things!

NIK - the hats are pretty flimsy, you can get much better cowboy hats in the Buffalo Trading Company shop next to The Steakhouse.

Not a long show then. I have looked before but decided to include it as part of my package this time. Going on my own I thought it might give me some company since I'm staying the extra night :grouphug: :grouphug: especially if I get a bit fed up of my own company after three days.

I'll have a look for those hats. I did think I might pass it on to the boys but with there being three of them.... You can see my problem. I'll check it out a bit more when I get there.

Also, would reckon the Hotel Cheyenne shop would sell children's cowboy hats too, which hopefully wouldn't be too expensive. I've heard they stock a good range of children's cowboy themed merchandise there. :goodvibes

Also plenty of cowboy merchandise in Frontierland shops, as we know with DS only to well :goodvibes

Thats a thought! You can guarantee if Aunt Nik comes home with a nice hat on there will be three little hands going up wanting to claim it. I'll have a look in the shops whilst there. ta all

We did BBs in Feb02 and really had a great time we took our little bot who was 3 at the time and he loved it. We are going again in Sept (just 4 adults ) and plan to do BBs again.

I am def' considering booking this for my Girls only trip in Sept as a suprise :teeth:
