We went to the show in March and I absolutely fell in love with the bread they served (trailside bread), does anyone know what it is or even have a recipe ;)

I can't stop thinking about it, it was soooo scrummy :cloud9:

I've never eaten there, so don't know for sure, but try and google 'corn bread' and 'bannock' - those are the two which come to mind based on the name. Corn bread can vary widely as to taste and texture. Bannock is common to many native populations in North America.

'tis Cornbread my friend.

Go Google is calling you.

BTW it is very nice. :thumbsup2

We also went to this show and I love this corn bread! Do you have the recipe now?

Agree the corn bread is fabulous - that and the Apple Cobbler dessert are the best bits of the meal for me :goodvibes

Hi Paula-Jane just noticed your from Bonnie Dundee too:thumbsup2

Have to agree corn bread was yummy. Just looked it up in trusty old Be-Ro cookbook but the nearest they had was cornish pasties:rotfl2:

I totally agree, these were the two bits I happily chomped through, and also the chilli con carne, never touched the stuff before but I was so hungry I ate my way through it and apart from 'runny nose syndrome' it was really good :goodvibes

Hello fellow Dundonian, is it trying to snow where you are?

Still haven't found the recipe but I have a few from Florida that I could use, although having been there in September it didn't taste quite as scrummy as Paris :confused3

Hi just blowing through a bit:sad2: Kids are very excited though and keep asking to go sledging. Am praying for a blizzard so I don't have to go back to work tomorrow:worship:
