Buffalo Airport

Ok here's the thing. I am sure a lot of you who are flying with Southwest outta Buffalo airport are taking the 7:10 am flight like us. Any idea how early we need to be there now? I mean 5:10 seems a bit rediculous for a small airport like that???

We have a 7:20 flight and the car service is picking us up at 5. 45 minute drive to the airport. That schedule is from the car service who do it everyday. I figure it's good.

i have always been there at 6 for this same flight....always have time to grab breakie and still wait for boarding. SWA has curbside check in at BUF which saves a lot of time. I still plan on getting there at 6 for my Sept 8 flight.

I personally prefer to be a little bit earlier just in case anything happens. I think the airline only requires that you arrive 60-90 minutes before departure for a domestic flight. The last time we went out of BUF we pulled into the park and fly exactly 2 hours before the flight time(10:50am flight). It took about 15 minutes to park and get in to the check in counter. But, security was about a 25 minute wait and from what I've seen the security lines can be quite long for the earlier morning flights.

In my book it's better to be early than to miss your flight.

We planned on arriving about 6 for our 7:20 flight, too.

We always arrive about 5:30am for the Southwest early morning flight.

Hi we arrive always at 5:30am too. We leave earlier from home because once a long long time ago we were stopped and checked. We were over an hour at the boarder and so we don't ever take any chances when we have Disney waiting!!
