Buffalo Airport Hotel Suggestions

I have been looking into airfare for our upcoming trip (Feb '05) and Southwest looks like it will be around $540 CDN for the three of us (theyare only booking until 01/14 but I figure Feb will be similar). Anyway, the best I could get so far from Pearson Int'l is $1100 through Westjet. Now, that is a pretty big difference for two airports 1 1/2 hrs away from each other! So, because of this I am thinking we will drive to Buffalo the day before we fly out and stay over night in a hotel by the airport. I am looking for any recommendations on hotels around the Buffalo Airport and if anyone has experience leaving their car at the airport - is it safe? does it cost extra $$? If, any idea how much?

PS - Don't tell DH but this also gives me a perfect opportunity to SHOP!!!!!

We have twice stayed at the Holiday inn on Buell Ave. It was built last year and is very clean, comfy beds, great shuttle service, free continental breakfast, and will keep your car for up to 2 weeks. The first year I paid $119/night and last year I got the internet rate of $59 which I was told included the car staying put, but when I got there they tried to add another $30 onto my bill and finally honored the original. So I am thinking the cheapest rate is probably around $89.
