Buena Vista Suites-how long to get to BWV?

We're staying our first nite at Buena Vista Suites and will be checking into the BWV the next AM. How long will it take up to get to BWV from BVS? I'm hoping to do an early AM check-in and then walk to either MGM or Epcot for opening.

Does anyone know if they actually open for the free breakfast promptly at 7? I'm hoping to get my free breakfast before heading out.
