Hi all! We are heading down to Disney in October for a wedding and are staying offsite at Buena Vista Suites (first time offsite but now a family of 5 so it is what it is :( ). The website says these are sister hotels and suggest each other for the dining options. Are you able to use the pool of the other resort as well? We won't be needing it often, but I think my kids would enjoy the larger waterfall pool at Caribe Royale vs the smaller pool (at least once or twice). So, is it close enough to walk over, and can you use the other pool? Also, how close are other dining options? We might eat offsite a few times and would prefer something close to the hotel. Thanks so much.

No.

I've stayed at both. They are same owners but really not "sisters" in terms of sharing. You can use their PAY for services like the Spa and Restaurants.

Yes, a HUGE difference in the pools. But at BVS you'll only have use of their pool.

If you have a car there is plenty around there to eat, walking is limited as it's a very big busy (not safe for walking) intersection.

Caribe Royale gives guests wrist bands required to use the pool. Caribe pool is much nicer, but their complex is also so huge with so many guests (at least when I stayed) that it gets crowded with just Caribe guests.
