Buena Vista Suites ... any reviews?

Looking for just one nights stay for our upcoming trip in May, we are arriving a day earlier then planned so we will need a one night stay. Found Buena Vista Suites and noted mixed reviews on it from Trip Advisor ... anyone ever stayed here and willing to share? I liked that fact that the 1 BR suite has 2 queens instead of double beds, when you are used to sleeping in a king sharing a double is next to impossible for 2 adults! My kids don't care, but its always nice when they offer larger beds. Any information on here would be most helpful!

Or anyone recommend another hotel with queens instead of 2 double beds? Been to Orlando Vista, nice and another option, we just like to try other hotels in the area!

Never stayed at Buena Vista - but my sister did twice as an add on hotel like you- once to the beginning and once at the end of trips- she said it was fine- She and we have also stayed at the Caribe Royal next door which is an upgrade from the Buena Vista and has some two bedroom suites with two doubles and one king for mom and dad- We are staying there for Memorial day weekend
At Buena though my sister said they have complimentary breakfast early so you can eat and get right to the parks with no fuss which is nice- Both are close to MK enjoy!

Thanks for the information ... I plan to share the information with my husband and make a decision soon. We just like to hear from other people what they think about places we have not been to ... I might check out Caribe Royale too, that looks like a nice place too Thanks again for the information

We stayed there one night last May and are returning for one night next month. You can't beat the price if you are only using it between resorts since breakfast is included.

The service was very nice and the breakfast was wonderful. We got to the breakfast early so we avoided long lines.

The room was a little dated. The wood of the furniture was scratched but overall it was very clean. The pool seemed small but we are use to resort pools so you really can't compare. The location is wonderful. It is right down the road from Downtown Disney.

I would have no fears staying there for the night. Mousesavers was running a code with an $89 rate a few weeks ago. I'd check it out.

We just got back, stayed four nights at Buena Vista Suites. It was good, not great but for a few nights WELL worth the financial savings. The rooms are large enough for the 6 of us and the 2 queen beds were great for our kids. We took the pull out sofa, not real comfortable. We did so because it was closest to the door and were glad that we did because the halls were rather noisy when we were there.

The breakfast was nice for our family. No bacon, much to my children's dissappointment, ham one day, sausage links the next, (the sausage was not well received). Scrambled eggs or eggs over easy, potatoes, oatmeal, biscuits, cereals, canned peaches, no fresh fruit, toast, you get the idea. We ate breakfast 2 of the 4 days.

It was windy so we did not use the pool. It appeared that you had to walk through the lobby and around the front to get to the pool. Not to my liking and the pool did appear smaller than we are used too.

Everyone was pleasant at the hotel. I would stay here again if the situation arose but it doesn't compare to staying in a Disney hotel. It was a easy drive onto Disney property, right down the road.

Thanks so much for the great information ... I think we may go ahead and book it, its only one night and we can survive that! I really appreciate all the advise from fellow DIS'ers
