Buena Vista Palace's Alamo/National Can Rental?

We are staying at POFQ in a couple of weeks need to rent a car for a day in the middle of our trip, and it seems that this place would be the closet for us to get a car. Anyone know where is? it is reallly near POFQ or Down Town Disney? or can we take a Disney bus there?

Also any good discounts going on?

You could take the DTD bus and Walk to it or you could rent from the Car Care Center, they have a shuttle that will pick you up and take you to the CCC and will drop you back at your resort when you return the car

We rented from Buena Vista Palace last September. It was really easy to get there. We took the bus to DTD and then walked across the street. The rental office is just inside the courtyard that you will come into as you enter the building. The spa or gym(can't remember which) is also right there. We got an email special rate for $10 per day with a Saturday rental required. We had the car for 2 days and the total cost was $29...it was fun to watch the rental guys eyes bug out when he saw the rate.

WOW....now that is a great deal...so far I am not finding to much...if I called would I get a better rate, or should I have my AAA agent who did our trip, she what she can find for us?

Check the Alamo site under the 'Hot Deal' tab and also watch this board. You can also sign up for the emails on the Alamo site.

I have found good rates by using Expedia or sites like that just to see all the rates in one place then I book with the agency site.

There are a couple other rental agencies in DTD hotels. We have used dollar at the regal sun and I think there's one at the Hilton, too.

For our upcoming trip next week, we are taking ME Thursday night when we land.We have pick up at Alamo at Buena Vista Place at 10AM on Friday and retun Monday at 5PM for that $10/day rate (total $58) and then will walk over to Regal Sun and pick up at Dollar at 5PM with Drop at MCO Tuesday at 5PM for $38 total. I'd prefer to just rent a car for the whol time, but couldn't touch these low rates any other way.

Personally, I feel more in control to take a bus to DTD and walk to a hotel than to worry about scheduling a shuttle pick up from the car care center.
Keep in mind you can also rent from Alamo at the Dolphin Hotel
