Buena Vista Palace

we are staying in Buena Vista Palace for part of our honeymoon in October then moving onto Yacht club.

Anyone stayed at BVP?

I've stayed at Caribe Royal it's sister property. I understand the 1 bedroom rooms are identical.

We had a nice stay.

I think the PP is referring to the Buena Vista Suites, not the Buena Vista Palace. We have stayed at the Palace twice when we run out of our DVC points.

It is right across the street from DTD and super convenient to walk over. We also thought the pool and rooms were more than adequate for the price. Be sure to look for specials on Travelzoo or other places as they run promos all the time. It is more of a corporate hotel so you will not get an overload of "Disney Magic" but literally cross the street and you are in DTD.

The rooms are clean and well appointed and the price is right for us.

I would recommend the BVP to a friend and will stay there again in the future.

Yes the proximity to DTD is looking good.

Was slightly worried that I didn't see much about it on here or anywhere even though it is a linked hotel.

I was considering changing it to a disney hotel but the price is better in BVP.

Hope our stay will be nice too.

I just stayed there a week ago for the first time and would definitely return. The rooms are a good size with comfortable beds and something that I love..2 vanities with sinks with one outside of the bathroom. We had a room in the island section which is right near the pool and a short walk to DTD. There is a resort fee but we got a rate from their web site of $85/night so the extra fee wasn't a big deal.

We stayed there part of our Honeymoon too... 25yrs ago!! We spent alittle bit of the time at the bar Laughing Kookabarra (The Kook) if I remember correctly.
