Buena Vista Palace Formerly Wyndham

I have already booked a 6 night trip for Thanksgiving 2006. Booked a suite at the Buena Vista Palace. We stayed at the Wyndham Thanksgiving 2004 and were pretty pleased with the price and the hotel even though it was showing its age a little. My husband and I do not have kids, so we kind of enjoy the break from Mickey and the closeness to Downtown Disney. I know they are planning big renovations for the place, so I wanted to be sure they would be complete by Thanksgiving 2006 or else cancel my reservations -- any suggestions for how to track renovation progress. Thanks a bunch.

Unfortunately, until you get much closer to the date there will be no way to know for sure. Especially since these things can get behind schedule. I would just check back here every few months to see if anyone visited recently, and/or call the hotel to check with them.
