OK so if it was up to me I would not have a budget and would spend a ridiculous amount on my Disney vacation but since my money is my DH money too he talks some sense into me ;-) anyway we are doing our Dec trip on a budget I used my 40% pin on our room and now I am trying to figure out what would be the cheapest food route? I know it would be to bring food from home but we are staying @ POP and can't cook anything. Any ideas of inexpensive places to eat?

Send a box with breakfast and snack items down UPS. It is usually easy to make oatmeal with hot water from the coffee maker for a quick breakfast. You will have a fridge so you can buy milk at the food court/gift shop if you prefer cereal. Ship down a case of water or soda and keep it in the fridge. Snacks like pretzels or fruit snacks ship well and don't break too much. I would advise you not to ship donuts or danish down-they just don't ship well, and cookies break into a million little pieces when shipped.

All Ears has restaurant menus with current prices. Plan, plan, plan before you go. Put aside a certain amount of money for each meal, having picked out and made reservations at the places you want to eat. Use the envelope method and keep them in your room safe. Take each envelope for the day and stick to your budget.

Remember to include tipping money, if you go to sit down places.

We have found that there are several CS places inthe parks where we can share a meal. Specifically, Cosmic Rays and Flame Tree BBQ come to mind. Look to order some of the "combo" meals as they are only a few bucks more sometimes and give you a lot more food to be able to share. DH and I share a lot of CS meals as I think Disney gives you too much food. Unfortunately, if they lower the amt of food - they probably won't lower the prices..so I don't complain too much!
