Budget Wedding Gift Ideas

My favorite budget wedding gift is to have a homemade meal that the newlyweds can heat up when they come back from thier honeymoon. I usually do a lasagna, have bread and a bottle of wine waiting at their home. I've done this for family and friends (family is a little easier to get into the home when they are away, but I've been able to arrange it with the friend's family as well).
