Narrowing our choices down to 2, POP or CSR. Have come to the conclusion that we need 2 rooms, one for DH and myself and the other for 16 y.o. DS.
I like the looks of CSR and it has gotten really good reviews. I am still debating over the cost. The POP looks like it would be fun to stay there also. I don't know much about the POP. Besides the theming, what are the big differences between the POP and CSR. They both have exterior hallways, a foodcourt, gift shops, etc. Neither have balconies, elevators, or interior hallways. The only diference I come up with is the mods have table service and they have a marina.

We just styated at POp and then AKl and loved them both.

We were in a 50s building with a big Lady (from Lady adn the Tramp) in connecting rooms (my Mom was with us). I didn't expect to like it but nothing was too far away from that building, the food court was decent and the pool was nice too.

We did not use the bus service b/c we drove so I can't comment on that, but they do have their own busses taht dont' go anywhere else.

If the budget is tight and you can do more things at WDW if you stay at POP, that is the way to go. But if you can afford the upgrade, we love CSR and here are a few reasons why.

I am always going to vote Pop when the word Budget comes up. Even with my boyfriend's cast member discount we always end up at the Pop. It's so hard to justify after doing the math NOT to stay there.
Figure out what it would cost for your stay at CSR and then figure out for 2 rooms at the Pop. I am pretty sure the numbers will do the deciding if it's a budget trip

I like the POP. We are hardly in our room so it doesn't make sense for us to spend too much money on the room.

If you will be spending time at the resort, I say CSR all the way! If not , then Pop is the nicest of the values (IMO)
