Budget Trip in Jan

We're just now starting to plan a budget get-away for the end of Jan. We'll most likely stay at PC, so any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. We're also planning to do lunch as our main meal, so how about some good moderately priced ideas for either the resorts or parks? We'll probably do 2 days in the parks and have some leisure time at the pools , mini-golf and shopping.

You'll have a great time at Pop Century!! My dh and I stayed there in May and loved it!!! We also honeymooned this past January and had a great time!! Good choices!

Here's my food suggestions:
Boma for breakfast
Beaches & Cream
Biergarten
Whispering Canyon Cafe

And I second the idea of making lunch the big meal. It's so much cheaper and doesn't interfere with plans to see Illuminations/Wishes/Fantasmic!

If you'd like to do a buffet, you might enjoy Trail's End at Ft. Wilderness. It's great food for a very reasonable price in a nice relaxed atmosphere. We thought it was one of the best values around.

SciFi is a pretty fun place to try if you've never been there before. Their sandwiches are huge, so you could easily split one to cut down on cost.

kandmwedding...we also honeymooned at WDW in 1974 (LOL) and my DD just honeymooned at the BCV and DCL. As you can see, we are a nutty Disney family. Thanks so much for your suggestions. I've always wanted to try the Biergarten and Beaches and Cream. We'll have to hit them this trip!

Travelbug..thanks for the sugestion on the Trails End Buffet. We ate there a couple of years ago, so I think its time to return.
