Budget tip for Wal-Mart, look at the app price first!

Went to Wal-Mart last night to pick up a few toys that I needed for Christmas. Found them and noticed that the price was like $5-$7 higher than what was on the app. So that was a no go. So I ended up getting two of the toys that totaled $73.54 in the store for $61.44 on the app, and they are just waiting on me to pick them up.

Now several of them were the same price, but there were several others that I was considering for other kids that were a good bit cheaper as well. Now their inventory tracker thing was a bust! Several things they said that was not available at my local store were and vice versa.

I had the opposite experience. After reading here that Madden16 was still the black Friday price of $38.xx I looked on-line but the price was at $59.xx. I had to go into the store anyways so I had the employee check the price-it scanned at the Black friday price

No need to order them in the app and do a pickup - you can do an online price match at the register. I do it all the time - I just show them my phone.

Yes, it does pay to look at the app or online before buying stuff at Walmart. I recently got an OtterBox for my phone. They were marked like $53 on the shelf. Online they were $29 with free pickup. I showed them the online price on my phone and I asked them if they would pricematch that. They said yes, and did it on the spot. I didn't have to even go through the online order process.
