I realize this isn't Disney realated, but I am looking for ideas of what worked for you.

I have an organizing blog, and I'm embarrased with the way my scrapbooking supplies are organized. Pretty much they are in an old dresser!!!

I would love any ideas that are cheap that worked for you!!! I especially need help with stickers. I tried keeping a binder with page protectors, but maybe there is a better way! I don't want to spend a lot of money, because scrapbooking isn't really a cheap hobby!

I think organizing scrapbooking stuff is an evolving process! ;) I have been dreaming of a hard-case tool box for much of my stuff, but my DH doesn't think I need a tool box for that *stuff*. I have seen many of them at different retreats, and they look fabulous! Currently I have several different containers with all of my stuff in them... a 12x12 large paper case with all paper, Rubbermaid click together stackers for ribbon. a bead organizer (round with detachable cases on the sides) for brads, a rolling bag and a hard plastic photo box for stickers/embellishments. It does get to be a lot if I am going somewhere to scrap, but it helps me stay organized and in turn a more efficient scrapper. We all know time is limited!! :rolleyes1

I have been looking online and everything I see seems so COOL and perfect, but expensive!!!! Thank you for your ideas!

I like my paper stored flat so years ago I got metal wire cubes and hung wxtra shelves about 2 in apart with zip ties for paper storage.

I have most of my stickers in page kits(gallon zip lock bags)with matching solid and patterned paper and embellishments. They are stored in wire racks. It makes it really easy to go thru them quickly and grab some to match photos.

I store the extra embellishments in jars or stacking pill organizers so they are out in the open. If I can't see them, I forget about them. A spinning spice rack with clear jars(yard sale find) does the trick.

I am lucky to work at an entertainment store part time, and have dragged home some stuff which helps. I have a huge display piece that used to hold coloring/activity books..rows of slots where I put my big paper and books of paper. I've picked up various shelves at yard sales and then have plastic boxes with different stuff in each..stickers, big sticker sheets, long borders, etc. I have a red bin that I use for everything Christmas, then a couple bins with just Disney stuff in them. I also have little divided plastic boxes and little plastic rounds for brads and other stuff like that. I got a cardboard divided desktop shelf thing on clearance at Staples where I put 8" paper and other small stuff, I also have brought home a few sturdy cardboard book displays that I've hung on the wall and use the compartments for things like glue, punches, etc. When I sold CM I got a floor file thing where I have patterned 11 1/2 paper (the solids are on a shelf) and big alphabet sheets. Small alphabet sheets are in a little tray that fits in a cardboard book display slot, and I have a long flat tray for word stickers and books. And yet..when I scrapbook I never can find the perfect sticker or something so need to go online and buy more :)

I agree with mombare, it's an evolving process.

Right now I have my paper stored in those cropper hopper vertical paper holders. They are about $7 a piece but you can probably get them at Michaels, ACMoores or Joanns with a coupon. I think Oriental Trading sells them also. You could also recycle priority mail boxes to use for paper storage. You can cover/alter them to make them pretty.

My stickers and a lot of my rub ons are stored in the cropper hopper divided storage box. There are 12 sections or so - I have letters and accents divided by color and then there are a couple of sections by theme. This is my favorite organization item - it keeps all that stuff at my fingertips and I can easily pack it up to bring to a crop if I were inclinded to bring them all with me. In the past I used a legal sized expanding file folder. Magazine holders might work well too. I need to see my stuff to use it.

The rest of my embellishments are sorted {mostly} by color in those Iris desktop drawers. There are a couple of theme drawers and a couple misc items like rubons and journal squares that would get lost in the sticker box.

The tools are in one of those Making Memories carousels but a kitchen tool caddy would probably work just as well and not take up as much room. I also have a basket of chipboard stuff I don't know what to do with since it's mostly plain/unfinished and a basket with stamps.

It's a nightmare packing for crops. I have one at the end of the month and I am already trying to get myself organized.
