Budget Saving Tips for DL Anyone?

How we have saved in the past:

We stay at Embassy Suites. With six of us, we can still get one room and a full (warm) breakfast. We pick up lunch stuff from the local grocery store and carry it in a collapsible lunch box. Depending on how long the park is open and the hours, we leave for the afternoon for naps/swimming and have snacks at the Manager's reception. We like to get dinner at El Pollo Loco or In N Out or anything local and inexpensive we like and don't have at home..and then head back to the park, depending on the day. We get the AAA passes with free parking, too. I like to splurge on a meal or two at the park, also- and maybe one snack purchased the entire time. If I just had one kid, I might splurge a bit more, but 6 X's anything adds up fast!

We liked the Character Warehouse, too, but it's definitely hit/miss.

I was just watching a wife swap last night where a family of 3 spent a thousand a week on groceries. I did our entire 6 day trip in Anaheim(3 of us), including a night at a motel in Sacramento for under a thousand. Crazy. We spend maybe $100 a week on groceries- Max. MAX. And we eat well- also I don't coupon. Not to say I've never used a coupon in my life- I do if they are offered but I don't like the time spent and the paper accumulation that comes along with them. It's just being smart and buying and storing properly. I also work at a grocery store and in the meat dept and I shop at Costco, grocery outet. I also dumpster dive our college campus during move out-- you'd be amazed at what those kids throw out. I have a lifetime supply of Ramen noodles lol. I like estate sales for essentials too and canned-boxed stuff. Y'know that's fine if people want to waste money--more for me I guess. Where would we be if they were smarter about the fast pass system too?
